學歷與專長領域：學歷以材料系所為主，專長以能源、半導體、材料模擬、生醫、薄膜技術等領域2人，須接受系上安排教授課程(含EMI課程)。
職級：專任或專案助理教授（含）以上。
起聘日期：115年08月01日

明志科技大學材料工程系對於人才培育與推動研究計畫，成效非常傑出。凡獲博士學位且符合上述專長並且至本系任教有興趣者，請於申請截止日期前檢齊下列資料寄至本系，逾期或資料不齊者將不予受理。
◎申請人請備齊以下紙本資料：
- 履歷表(含專長及著作目錄) 。
- 畢業證書影本(※國外大學畢業且未取得本國大專以上教師資格者，需繳交經外交部駐外管處驗證完成之國外學歷證件及成績單。)，或是可以於115年06月底之前準時畢業之合法證明文書。
- 大學部及研究所成績單。
- 推薦函3封 (有通知面試者再提供) 。
- 畢業論文封面及摘要影本。
- 其他著作抽印本。
- 教學規劃：詳述教學經驗及未來可開授之課程。
- 研究規劃：最近5年內之研究或績效及未來研究方向。
- 填寫相關績效表格，如附件(明志科大材料系新聘教師點數核算表) 。
- 依教育部規定需具備累計一年以上業界實務工作經驗(含博士後研究員)，入職前滿一年可。

Faculty Position Announcement
Position Title：Two (2) Full-Time Faculty Positions at the Rank of Assistant Professor or Above(Starting Date: August 1, 2026)
Application Deadline：April 15, 2026 (postmark date will be considered as proof of submission)
Position Description：The Department of Materials Engineering at Ming Chi University of Technology invites applications for two full-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor (or above).
Required Academic Background and Expertise：Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering or a closely related field. Specializations in one or more of the following areas:
- Energy Materials
- Semiconductor Materials
- Materials Simulation
- Biomedical Materials
- Thin Film Technology
The successful candidate must be willing to teach courses assigned by the department, including English-Medium Instruction (EMI) courses.
Rank：Full-Time Assistant Professor (or above), including project-based appointments.
Starting Date：August 1, 2026
Application Requirements：Applicants who have obtained a doctoral degree and meet the above specialization requirements are invited to submit the following documents before the application deadline. Applications with incomplete documentation or received after the deadline will not be considered.
Required Documents (Hard Copies)：
1. Curriculum Vitae (including areas of expertise and list of publications).
2. Photocopy of Ph.D. diploma.
* Applicants who graduated from overseas institutions and have not yet obtained Taiwanese higher education teaching qualification must provide degree certificates and transcripts authenticated by a Taiwanese overseas representative office.
* Alternatively, official documentation certifying expected graduation by the end of June 2026 is acceptable.
3. Official transcripts from undergraduate and graduate studies.
4. Three letters of recommendation (to be provided upon notification of interview).
5. Copy of dissertation cover page and abstract.
6. Reprints or copies of representative publications.
7. Teaching Plan: A detailed description of teaching experience and proposed courses to be offered in the future.
8. Research Plan: Summary of research achievements within the past five years and future research directions.
9. Completed performance evaluation form (Ming Chi University of Technology Department of Materials Engineering New Faculty Point Evaluation Form).
10. In accordance with Ministry of Education regulations, applicants must have at least one year of cumulative industry-related practical experience (including postdoctoral experience). The one-year requirement may be fulfilled prior to appointment.
Additional Notes：Applicants with prior teaching or industry experience will be given priority consideration.
